The Chaguanas Senior Comprehensive Old Boys did our first annual fundraiser Christmas Parang in December 2018 where we collected nonperishable items on entry which was used to create hampers for needy students. This initiative came about when the guys met and the discussion struck about how we can do a yearend function and in the process gather supplies and donate to a home of our choosing.

We then continued, sharing the idea with the school’s VP Ms J. Eligon who brought it to our attention that there are a few needy kids that can benefit from such activity. It was done and 40 plus hampers was done and distributed as gifts to the kids.
