Award Acknowledgement

The Chaguanas North Secondary School Old Boys Association and the Chaguanas North Secondary School honoured our very own Terry Lyons and College Boy Jessy on their success in winning the Calypso Monarch and Groovy Soca Monarch respectively.

Terry Lyons, a daughter, a past student of the Chaguanas North Secondary School, is the first of our own to have copped this prestigious title. She stands as a shining example and embodiment of our school's moto: “Pursue Excellence”. She has worked hard and remains committed in her pursuit for excellence in the arts of Calypso and Soca. Now she holds the crown of Calypso Monarch; the fifth woman to have won the title since the inception of the competition in 1939.

College Boy Jessy is also special to the CNSS Community and Old Boys Association. He is the son of a former teacher who gave many years of dedicated service to the school. Likewise, Jesse’s dedication and hard work displayed in pursuit of his dreams has brought him success.  He has proven himself to be an excellent role model for our students. We are also thankful for his support in many of our school activities.

CONGRATULATION AND THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU!!!!
