At a total value of just about 50 thousand dollars the Chaguanas Old Boys Association made yet another stellar contribution to the welfare of student body. This contribution came in the form of a total upgrade of the school’s library. The upgrade included the removal of old and broken window fittings and the installation of modern windows.

This was followed by the construction of a new wall within the library and an overall face lift of the library which included aesthetic work and colour change for the entire space which was more conducive for studying and cerebral activity.

Lastly the “Old Boys” donated a 5ton AC unit to finally bring the entire space into the 21st century. The works executed by the Old Boys was done over a 6week period and was completed during the July/August Vacation holiday period.

The membership wishes to thank Point Lisas Nitrogen Ltd (PLNL) and Pheonix Park Gas Processors Ltd (PPGPL) who would have directly contributed to the successful completion of this project as well as the School Administration at the Chaguanas North Secondary for once again giving the Old Boys their continued support and opportunity to illustrate our good will and invest in the students of Chaguanas North Secondary.

Other special thanks to National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB), Carib Brewey Ltd, Liqour House Bar, Publix Hardware, Coca Cola and Blue Waters Ltd, for contributing to our Tropical Sunset fundraising event in March 2024.
